Future STAARS was created from a simple belief: Every young person deserves the opportunity to discover what they are capable of becoming. Through sports, mentorship, academics, leadership, accountability, and community support, we are building more than programs. We are creating a place where young people can grow.

WHY FUTURE STAARS

IT STARTED WITH A PLACE TO BELONG.

Future STAARS grew from the belief that young people need more than activities to fill their time.

They need places where they feel safe. People who expect something from them. Mentors who encourage them. Coaches who hold them accountable. Opportunities to discover strengths they may not yet see in themselves.

Sports became a powerful starting point. Young people could walk through the door because they wanted to play. But once they were there, the opportunity became much bigger.

It became an opportunity to build confidence. Learn discipline. Develop friendships. Improve academically. Discover leadership. And understand that someone believed in their future.

FUTURE STAARS WAS CREATED TO GIVE YOUNG PEOPLE MORE THAN SOMETHING TO DO. IT WAS CREATED TO GIVE THEM SOMETHING TO BELONG TO.

Future STAARS exists to provide youth with access to sports, mentorship, academic support, leadership development, and positive opportunities that inspire confidence, character, and lifelong success. Founded on the belief that every child deserves guidance, encouragement, and a place to belong, we create safe environments where young people can grow and discover their full potential regardless of their circumstances.

Through athletics, mentorship, education, and community support, Future STAARS empowers the next generation of leaders—both on and off the field of play.

What it means to be a Future STAAR.

The STAARS Standard is more than a set of words. It is the culture we want every participant to practice—in sports, in school, at home, and throughout their community.

S — SPORTSMANSHIP

Compete with character. Respect teammates, coaches, opponents, teachers, and yourself.

T — TRAINING

Show up. Put in the work. Develop your body, skills, confidence, and discipline.

A — ACADEMICS

Education comes first. What happens in the classroom matters just as much as what happens on the court.

A — ACCOUNTABILITY

Own your grades, attendance, effort, behavior, decisions, and actions.

R — RESPECT

Respect yourself, your family, your school, your teammates, coaches, facility, and community.

S — SUCCESS

Set goals, recognize progress, overcome setbacks, and continue becoming the best version of yourself.

THE GOAL IS NOT TO KEEP A CHILD IN FUTURE STAARS FOREVER. THE GOAL IS TO PREPARE THEM FOR WHAT COMES NEXT.

Our hope is that the impact continues beyond each participant.

A young athlete can become a leader. A leader can become a mentor. A mentor can help guide another young person. And one opportunity can eventually create another.
