Where the Future STAARS story began.

ONE JOURNEY.

A FUTURE FOR THOUSANDS.

Future STAARS was born from lived experience. Growing up in foster care, our founder experienced many of the challenges thousands of young people continue to face today—the uncertainty of what comes next, inconsistent guidance, and obstacles that many children should never have to navigate alone.

Along the way, he discovered how powerful one caring person can be: a mentor, a coach, a teacher, an opportunity, a community willing to believe in you. Those experiences became the foundation of Future STAARS.

What began as one person’s dream has grown into a mission to give young people access to sports, mentorship, education, leadership opportunities, facilities, and support systems that can help change the direction of their lives.

Because every child deserves a chance. Every child deserves guidance. Every child deserves an opportunity. And every child deserves someone who believes in them.

Future STAARS works alongside parents, guardians, educators, mentors, and coaches to help participating youth remain accountable for their education, behavior, attendance, effort, and personal development. Where appropriate and with required parent or guardian authorization, Future STAARS may communicate with a student’s school or teachers to better understand academic progress and determine where additional support may be helpful.
