IN-KIND CONTRIBUTIONS
Materials or equipment that may no longer be needed on a project or in your warehouse can provide valuable hands-on learning opportunities for Future Tech Academy students. We welcome conversations with contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, telecommunications providers, utility companies, technology companies, and other organizations with usable training resources.
What can be donated?
Telecommunications Materials
Fiber optic cable, coax, conduit, innerduct, enclosures, pedestals, handholes, connectors, splitters, taps, and cable-management materials.
Fiber & Testing Equipment
Fusion splicers, OTDRs, optical power meters, visual fault locators, cleavers, preparation tools, and locating equipment.
Utility Construction Tools
Hand tools, trenching tools, cable pulling equipment, fish tape, rodding equipment, safety gear, traffic control, and PPE.
Heavy Equipment & Machinery
Directional drills, mini excavators, vacuum excavators, trailers, compressors, reel trailers, and equipment attachments. Used equipment may be considered based on condition and training value.
Technology
Laptops, tablets, monitors, networking equipment, projectors, printers, training simulators, and technical software licenses.
Classroom & Training Facility
Training tables, chairs, workbenches, tool storage, shelving, whiteboards, cabinets, training displays, and office equipment.
