Program Introduction
Build the Skills Behind the Networks That Keep Us Connected
Fiber optic networks are an important part of the infrastructure that connects homes, businesses, communities, and communication systems.
The Fiber Optic Technician program introduces students to the fundamentals of working around fiber optic telecommunications systems while developing practical knowledge that can support future opportunities within the industry.
Students can learn through a combination of instruction, demonstrations, hands-on activities, equipment exposure, and industry-focused training.
You don’t have to enter the program already knowing fiber optics. The purpose of training is to help you build that foundation.
Hands-On Training
Learn By Doing
Technical skills are easier to understand when students have the opportunity to see, handle, and work with the equipment used in the field. Future-Tech Academy is focused on creating learning experiences that combine technical instruction with practical exposure.
